M-Power is a programme for 14-16 year old pupils who have become disengaged from their education. The programme offers time out of school to enable the pupils to assess themselves and their possible futures.
The programme seeks to encourage pupils to make good use of their school time and to strive for qualifications and other tangible outcomes that will help them progress. The aim is to support the emotional and social development of young people. In order for them to access the curriculum and be successful in mainstream schooling, but also to experience and learn about employability skills.
Sessions take place in CBEBP's south Reading training centre.
The M-Power Manager, Alison Manning, is based at CBEBP.
For more information please contact Alison Manning or Neil Latchman.
