Since 1993, the Central Berkshire EBP has worked with education and business to help young people acquire skills and experience for their own development and enable them to play a full part in the life of the community.
As well as offering programmes aimed at linking students and businesses in the area we have specific programmes aimed at teachers.
At Central Berkshire EBP we aim to provide teachers with the opportunity to develop their own professional knowledge and skills, and keep them in touch with current work place practices and developments.

Teacher Placement Programmes
Our aim is to improve the quality of education for young people by matching teachers and companies so that they can share skills and learn more about each other's working environment.
Professional Development Placements can help support teachers in both teaching and management roles, and help them keep up to date with developments in the industries relevant to their subject.
Placements can range from visits to company premises, seminars, visiting speakers for INSET days, and individual mentoring in a specialist area, for instance, IT or management.
We are continually on the lookout for new opportunities for teacher placements, and the programme is updated regularly.
